A MESSAGE TO PARENTS
Make reading a part of every day  with your child. Share conversations with your child over meal times and other times. Children learn words easily when they hear them spoken often. Introduce new and interesting words at every opportunity. Read together every day. Either read to your child, or have your child read daily (10 minutes to 30 minutes depending on the age of the child).Spend time talking about stories, pictures and words.
