  • Reminder to all students participating in Annie rehearsal tonight, please plan to arrive at 5:45 so rehearsal may begin promptly at 6:00.
  • Annie tickets are on sale today through Friday during lunch and in the office.  Tickets are $5.00.
  • There is a Jazz band rehearsal after school on Wednesday in the Band room.

  • There will be no staff meeting for the Kennedy Edge today.  Production layout members will meet in Ms. Pittman's room after school today.  We'll meet as a full group next Monday.

Friday February 26 2010  E-day

  • There is no stage crew after school today.
  • Next week is world language week.  Make sure to look at the menu for school lunch on the Kennedy website-there will be delicious choices from around the world.  Also, you can listen to announcements or check out the posters in front of the cafeteria to see the menu.
  • All food or drink is to be consumed during your lunch period.  There is to be no food or drink taken outside of the cafeteria.
  • The all-star game sign-ups are almost over.  The sign up deadline is today, Friday, February 26th.  The all star game will start  a week later on March 5th with only the participants who have signed up by the given deadline.  Sign ups and rules can be found outside the library.


Thursday February 25 2010 D-day

  • Math club this week will only be for those attending the meet in Weston on Thursday.  All students who are attending the meet should be in Ms. Dewar's room by 2:40 PM sharp.

  • Congratulations to the 7th grade student council members for selling the most Shamrocks during the fundraiser fro Muscular Dystrophy.  You all did a great job.  On Tuesday March 2, please go to Ms. Simon's room for your Pizza party.

Tuesday February 23 2010 B-day

  • Pennies for Patients was a huge success!  Collectively we raised over $2,400.  for the Lukemia and Lymphoma Society.  The top prize pizza party goes to Ms. Reed's homeroom, which raised over $320.   Second place to Ms. Marshall's homeroom, they raised over $300.  And third place to Ms. McCann's homeroom for raising just under $275.  Thanks you again to everyone who participated.

Friday February 12 2010 T-day

  • Yesterday was a special day for our Boys and Girls Basketball teams.  Our boys won a tough game and played well and YES our girls beat a very tough team.  Our teams were terrific!

Thursday January 14, 2010 D-day

  • Today is a release day, school dismisses at 11:30.
  • The Kennedy boys and girls played great games against Wilson.  Our boys won big and our girls played tough throughout the game.  We travel to Ashland next Tuesday.
  • There is no Castaways on Monday.....we will meet on Tuesday and Wednesday next week from 2-4pm


Wednesday January 13, 2010 C-day

  • The Speech Club will meet today with Mrs. Massar after school.  We will meet on Wednesdays from now on due to Annie rehearsals.  All students in all grades are welcome.  
  • The Castaways will rehearse today from 2-4 PM as scheduled.
  • There is a Jazz band rehearsal today after school in the Band room.
  • There is a Kennedy vs. Wilson basketball game today.  You may come back at 3:15 to see the game but you cannot hang around the building from dismissal until that time.
  • The Annie rehearsal schedule has been changed for today.  We will rehearse scenes 7-8 and the rehearsal will be from 2-3.

  • St. Patricks Day has come early!  Buy a Shamrick today to help benefit Muscular Dystrophy Association.  We will be hanging up Shamrocks in the front lobby.  Shamrocks are $1.00 each so see your home room rep to get one now until Jan. 27th.  Help us make a difference!!
  • Yesterday our Cougar Basketball teams played at Medfield Middle School.  The girls lost a close one and the boys won.  We travel to Hopkinton on Monday.
