What are they?
Guidance Seminars are classes that are taught by a team of two Guidance Counselors.

When are they scheduled?
Guidance Seminars take the place of one study hall on a student's schedule.  They are approximately one hour long.

What are the topics and when do they occur?
GRADE 09:For first year students Guidance Seminar serves as an introduction to Natick High School.  Topics covered include:  orientation to Natick High, tips on study habits, and a guide to school resources.  These sessions occur during the first semester of freshman year.

GRADE 10:  Sophomores will begin to choose their courses for their junior year.  We will also complete a vocational assessment.  This assessment will give students an idea of possible career choices and ideas for further career exploration.  These sessions occur during the second semester of sophomore year.

GRADE 11:  Juniors will begin to choose their courses for their senior year.  We will then complete an extensive college planning unit.  These sessions occur during the second semester of junior year.

GRADE 12:  We will complete the college planning unit during the first several weeks of fall semester.
