The Public Forum for the Principal finalists is scheduled for Thursday, February 11th at 7:00PM in our cafeteria and the Public Forum for the Athletic Director finalists is scheduled for Thursday, March 11th also at 7:00PM in the cafeteria. All are welcome to attend.
Congratulations to the NHS Speech Team!
Congratulations to Coach Sarah Donnelly and the NHS Speech Team which placed in the Top Ten Nationally, at the prestigious Columbia University Speech Tournament, last weekend in New York City! Our team placed in the Top Ten in the school sweepstakes division. Seventy schools from across the country, hailing from as far away as Texas and California (states known for excellence in speech & debate), competed at the tournament. This was a remarkable feat, since the sweepstakes awards are calculated based on cumulative entries across three divisions: speech, debate and congress. For a team to place in the top ten while only entering one of those three divisions (speech) is beyond unlikely, it is remarkable. All involved deserve a HUGE round of applause!
