|About||Linking Effectively||Online Application|
The Natick High School Links Program is designed to facilitate a smooth and seamless transition for a student from a private, out of state, or out of district school to Natick High. The primary way to communicate with students interested in becoming a ‘Link’ in this process is through email. The email address we will use is: firstname.lastname@example.org
We ask and encourage, all Natick High School students to use this email address to register their interest in the Links Program.
• Goals and Objectives
The Natick High School staff and students appreciate that moving to a new high school can be daunting. Whether a student transfers in freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year, there can be unique challenges and obstacles, which can be softened and helped by a nurturing environment, and authentic welcome.
The Links Program has been established to help students who have never been enrolled in the Natick Public Schools system, or who have been out of this particular school system for a significant period of time. Students that automatically fall into this category would include individuals who have attended private schools, been home schooled, or transferred from another State or Country.
We are excited to welcome students participating in Foreign Exchange Programs, and believe the Links Program will promote positive school experiences and connectedness for these students.
Our Links Program enables ‘new’ students to ‘link up’ with an existing peer or upperclassman that can provide pertinent school information, support and comradeship, so the new student feels an important part of the fabric and culture of the high school.
