Truth or Dare:  You are invited to see:  Smoking: Truth or Dare (the video)--Thursday, 2/11 in the large group space.

Attention 7th & 8th grade students:  Night school began last night for required students.  Night school is for students who, during the previous trimester, had more than one grade below a C- and are missing homework assignments in their current trimester classes.

Should your grades fall blow this average or homework completion problems occur, you may be required to attend night school.  Night school runs from 2-5 on Thursday & Friday nights with qualified tutors and the principal and vice principal working with students.

Midterm has just passed and it is a good time to reflect on the beginning of the trimester and see what you can do as a student to improve your grades or maintain them if they are already strong.  Remember, effective effort--doing the daily work and learning from our successes and mistakes is the key to getting smarter and moving ahead in your grade.  No student is off the hook for expected work and night school is required if grades are not where they should be.

Attention all Students:  Students are not allowed to walk on the seemingly frozen water ponds that surround the school property.  These ponds are NOT frozen and students can fall in to the icy waters.  Death & injury can occur, even if the water is shallow.  In addition, do not walk on rock wall or abutting property near Rutledge Rd.  This is private property and the neighbors complain to us when you walk on their lawns!

Basketball:  The boys team beat and undefeated Kennedy team yesterday, 65-54 improving to 10-4 and reaching a season high point total.  Troy F. had 21 points and Brady F. had a season high 15 points to lead the offense.  The Wildcats relentless and pesky defense forced multiple turnovers for the visitors.  Wilson will take on Hopkinton at home on Monday.

The girls team improved to 11-3 with a 42-22 win over Kennedy yesterday.  Brigit B. had 14 points, and Jess D, Ali C., Ashley W. and Liz M. each chipped in with 4 points.  The team will close out the season with three home games next week, facing Hopkinton on Monday.
