General Information
Philosophy:
The Interscholastic Athletic Program at Natick Middle Schools is committed to the Mission Statement of Natick High School Athletic Programs. This Mission Statement states, "The Natick Public Schools, in partnership with family and community, challenges and supports each student to acquire and apply knowledge, skills, and a sense of personal and social responsibility."
Athletic programs are an extension of the academic day where our coaching staff is charged with the responsibility of challenging and developing players, both technically and emotionally, in a positive manner, using both praise and constructive criticism. Coaches are encouraged to make praise personal and criticism impersonal.
As members of the Natick Middle School Athletic Program, students and coaches are expected to demonstrate proper respect for each other, other teams, coaches, teammates, officials, spectators and equipment. Student-athletes and coaches are expected to exhibit the highest level of conduct, both on and off the playing field, as they are, at all times, representatives of their team, school and community.
FYI: The Athletic User's Fee for the upcoming 2009 - 2010 school year will be $150.00 per sport per season with a family maximum of $450.00. Please write all checks to Natick High Athletics. Also, a reminder to all student-athletes that you will need a current physical (within the last 13 months), a parent permission slip, and an emergency card to participate in all sports. These may be obtained on line in the Important Forms section of this website. These forms should be turned into the coach of the perspective sport.
