Employees should contact the Benefits Coordinator to make arrangements to continue insurance coverage for the period of his/her absence. If arrangements for such payments are not made through the Benefits Coordinator's Office within 30 days after the effective leave date, coverage will be automatically cancelled.

During this period an opportunity will be given to continue under COBRA, provided proper notification is given to the Benefits Coordinator.
