Welcome to the Johnson School website.
Johnson School is a community dedicated to creating positive and nurturing learning opportunities for all of its students. Parents, teachers, and staff work together to create abundant opportunities for academic and social growth. One parent referred to Johnson School as having a "glue that keeps everyone working together for all of the kids here." This is the time to create a love for learning and inspire children to be inquisitive about the world around them.
Johnson School is a community of respect. We respect each other, the environment and ourselves. This shows itself throughout the school day and offers learning opportunities for all of us to ask questions, be problem solvers, and make friends. As a result, our students are working on skills that will help shape them as compassionate and effective citizens.
We are a kindergarten through grade four neighborhood school. We have 12 classrooms, one school bus route, a kickin' street hockey court, and we will be celebrating our 60th anniversary as a public school this year! We love the fact that we are a small neighborhood school, where everybody knows your name.
