NEW NATICK HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING UPDATE
Welcome to the bulletin covering the New Natick High School Building project. This bulletin is a publication of the School Department and the Natick School Committee. We hope you will find these quick updates useful and informative.
What's Going On Now?
At the MSBA Board of Directors meeting on January 27, 2010, Natick Public Schools was approved for a budget and reimburement rate for the construction of a new Natick High School. After MSBA adjustments against a total budget of $88,987,414, the reimbursible budget was reduced to $82,016,562. These adjustments are standard in contracts with MSBA approved grants. At a reimbusment rate of 52.63% the state will reimburse Natick for $43,165,317.
See MSBA budget sheet above for details of the budget and reimbursement rates for the new Natick High School.
What's Next?
During the balance of February and through March much will be happening. Over the next few weeks, various town boards and departments will review the schematic concept to provide comments to the architect and engineers. The designers, working with the administration, building committee and faculty and staff, will move forward on the development of the new Natick High School.
