Statement from Natick School Committee on Interim Superintendent Appointment
Posted on 03/23/2018
On Thursday, March 22, 2018, the Natick School Committee voted, in a public meeting, to appoint Dr. Anna Nolin as Interim Superintendent. The Committee has asked Dr. Nolin to serve in this role until a permanent Superintendent is appointed.

Dr. Nolin has been a dedicated administrator in the Natick School District serving as Assistant Superintendent for Teaching, Learning, and Innovation since 2013 and, prior to that, as Principal of Wilson Middle School for six years and Vice Principal of Wilson for four years.

The School Committee anticipates initiating the search for a permanent Superintendent this summer and will begin the process by consulting with the Massachusetts Association of School Committees, the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents, and the district’s Director of Human Resources.

The School Committee thanks the community for their patience during this period of transition. We are grateful to Mr. Tim Luff, Assistant Superintendent for Student Services, and Dr. Nolin for their shared leadership of the district during this transition. We also thank district staff and administrators for their commitment to Natick and the exceptional work they have done, and continue to do, on behalf of Natick’s students.
