A Note From The Coach

Dear Cheerleading candidates and parents,

Thank you for taking an interest in the Natick High cheerleading program. We are looking forward to a wonderful and exciting year for everyone involved.

Cheerleading takes a high level of dedication, commitment, hard work, and a positive attitude. This may be a new commitment for many of you and must be taken seriously. We are a division one-varsity team (all girl) and sometimes a co-ed team in the Baystate Lead Conference of the MIAA, and follow the guidelines of the MIAA, MSSAA and NFHS.

Cheerleading is more than just signing out cheer and showing up for a game. It is an attitude. It is spirit, pride, hard work, dedication, a sense of who you are, and the beliefs of the school you represent. We hope you see clearly through all the "show" of cheerleading and focus on what really counts: pride in yourself, your classmates, and NHS.

You will be expected to maintain an acceptable academic level in school and behave in a manner, which is considered respectful and mature. You will be an ambassador of Natick High School and must always represent it honorably.

A good cheerleader maintains a healthy balance in life combining schoolwork, activities, and a competitive spirit. We are here to help you find that balance and have fun doing it. Make no mistake; it is hard work and a big commitment.

Good Luck,

Coach David Lombardi, Head Coach

Jessica Sistrand, JV Coach

Tim Collins, Director of Athletics
