We will be visiting the elementary schools this week to showcase the instrument we offer here in Natick for 4th graders. We will also discuss 5th grade musical choices for their entry into middle school. Band, orchestra, and chorus are offered at the 5th grade level.

March 26, at the Natick High School Cafeteria (6:00 PM) your student, of any age, can try the instruments they would like to consider.

Registration for current 3rd and 4th graders is open for the 2026-2027 school year!

Scheduling takes place at the end of the summer.

It is always our recommendation that students in middle school (especially in 7th Grade and beyond) take private lessons; this kind of personal attention is most effective for learning. We acknowledge that it is more expensive. Students at our elementary schools will be placed in class lessons, subject to availability.

Band & Orchestra

Elementary band and orchestra are outside the school day, once a week. (This differs by school start time, and will not necessarily be the same day as the lesson).

Elementary Band (before school) schedule 2025-2026 :

Tuesday: Lilja 7:45
Wednesday: Memorial 8:00
Thursday: Brown 7:45
Friday: Ben-Hem 7:30

Elementary Orchestra (after school) schedule 2025-2026:

Ben-Hem: Mondays until 3:30 in the Music Room starting October 27th

Memorial: Tuesdays until 4:00 in the Music Room starting October 28th

Lilja: Thursdays until 3:40 in the Music Room starting October 30th

Brown: Fridays until 3:40 in the Music room starting October 31st

Middle School Band, High School Band, Middle School Orchestra, and High School Orchestra are all scheduled classes.
