The NHS Make-a-Wish club raised a total of $15,000 this year, enabling the students and club supporters to help grant a family's wish! / Educators who achieved professional status along with a selection of our beloved retirees who were honored at a district ceremony. / Principal Teresa Carney at one of Wilson's two 8th grade graduation ceremonies.

Capturing moments inside and outside the classroom during April and early May

During this hands-on learning session, students discovered how to create three origami figures: a cup, a boat, and a heart. The workshop seamlessly combined multiple educational elements, including art, geometry, direction-following, fine motor skills development, and patience.

Students were particularly delighted when they discovered their paper cups could hold water, demonstrating the practical applications of their newly acquired skills. The carefully designed progression of projects allowed students to build confidence while mastering different folding techniques.

The Brown School 4th Graders would like to express our sincere gratitude to Ms. Collins for sharing her origami expertise with us.  We appreciate that she created such a meaningful learning experience for all of us.  Her time and talents were greatly appreciated.
