Discover what’s happening at Natick Public Schools through our dynamic communication initiatives. We engage with students, parents, and the Natick community to foster understanding and support for the District. Our communications efforts include media and community relations, digital marketing, web content, social media, newsletters, print publications, public information, photography, and video productions.
The District is committed to transparent communication. The Communications Department guides the Natick Public Schools brand based on the experiences and expectations of our stakeholders.
Explore our stories of student achievements, educator excellence, and program highlights through our newsletters and other publications. Feel free to follow us on social media. The district maintains Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter) and LinkedIn accounts. Please note that social media is not our primary form of communication and our accounts are not monitored on a 24/7 basis.
Newsletters & Email Notices
Newsletters from classroom teachers, schools and the district will keep you in the know on a regular basis. If your contact information is correct in PowerSchool, you will receive all of our biweekly newsletters and direct email updates. Our newsletters can be translated into most languages--please go here for instructions. Parents and guardians will also stay informed through any emergency notifications or dedicated email updates that are sent via SchoolMessenger Communicate, our mass notification system.
Download our mobile app for easy access to school calendars and contact information on the go. The app is available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Web content
Our individual school websites contain contact information for the school front office staff as well as information regarding dismissals. School closings will be announced on local news websites and will be shared on our natickps.org properties. You can access up-to-date calendars on our main district site as well as our school sites.
Frequently-visited pages of our district website include:
Dozens of helpful Natick School Committee pages are also available online for residents, caregivers, students and members of the media. Resources include—but are not limited to—meeting schedules and agendas.
As of 2024, NPS has a record number of resources online. A good portion of our online content has been archived in favor of more current information. That said, our content management system is not fully automated and does not efficiently archive dated information or alert us. Our community members use our content more often than the NPS staff does, so YOU can be the key to a better NatickPS.org. Contact communications[at]natickps.org if you spot a broken link, outdated materials or any item within our hundreds of pages that might deserve a second look. We appreciate the extra time you take to share these details with us.
We are satisfied when our visitors find exactly what they are looking for online and then quickly move on. Save your own frequently-visited NPS links as bookmarks.
Student Images in Photos & Videos
As part of our annual required forms, families had the option to opt out their students from appearing in photos or video recordings. Please note that we require a written request to opt out of these photo opportunities in advance and we elected to house our form in PowerSchool. Those families who did not respond by our November 1st deadline are designated as "opting into" being photographed for educational/District purposes.
Internal Communications & Learning Opportunities
For our dedicated staff, we provide support and training, along with access to resources in our district Google drive. From time to time, we collaborate with teachers to offer students experiential learning opportunities within our communications office. The biweekly staff newsletter lists PD opportunities and PD provider links.
Community Partners
If you're a not-for-profit community organization with educational or recreational opportunities, reach out to us to include your information in our newsletters or on our community notices webpage. Access the Town of Natick website.
