Natick Public Schools uses PowerSchool Enrollment for new student registrations.
Admission to Kindergarten or First Grade
For admission to kindergarten in Natick, a child must be five years of age on or before August 31, of the year in which the child will enter kindergarten. For admission to first-grade in Natick, a child must be six years of age on or before August 31 of the year in which the child will enter first-grade
Natick Preschool Registration Information
REGISTRATION PROCESS
Do not begin this process until you are physically residing in Natick.
STEP 1: Online Registration:
Create an account to be used for all new student registration forms. Make a note of the credentials for future registrations. (There is a forgot password link on the login page for ease of password resets.)
Click Create Account:
- Fields required : First name, Last name, email address, phone number
- Security fields : Password and selected security questions with personal answers
Once the account exists, the dashboard appears and there are links to the New Student Registration forms. Please note: you may log back in at any time using your saved credentials.
Click New Student Registration. You are initially prompted to enter in the student name and date of birth. Then click Add Student. There are several required sections of the New Student Registration form which display on the left side of the screen. You will not be able to submit your online registration without completing each section of the form.
In the summary section you will be able to review your form. Once the status is green for each section, the form may be submitted to the registrar. On the final submit page, you may print your form and also start a new registration form for an additional child.
STEP 2: Registration Appointment and Required Documents:

Please do not schedule your appointment until you have all of your documents.
All required documents must be submitted, at one time, during your registration appointment. Students cannot be enrolled until these items are reviewed and verified. A parent, guardian, or student who is unable to produce the required documents should contact the Registrar. Should you arrive for your appointment without the required documents, your appointment will have to be rescheduled. For your convenience, we have provided a link to a checklist (below) for you to utilize.

Required Documents:
- Child’s Original Birth Certificate
- Parent/Guardian Photo Identification
- Immunization Record
- Physical Examination Form with immunizations completed by a Health Care Provider
- Immunization and Physical Information From NPS Director of Nursing (it is acceptable if your doctor uses a different form to compile this information, as long as our required information is included and the record is complete.
- Proof of Residency and Occupancy: All applicants for enrollment must submit at least one document each from Column A, B, and C and any other documents that may be requested, including but not limited to those from Column A, B, or C (noted below).
Any person unable to provide residency documents must have the owner of the property complete a
Residency Affidavit at the Registrar’s office, accompanied by the owner’s Property Tax Bill/Mortgage
Statement and picture ID.
Other Documents helpful for placement:
- English Language Learner Transcript/ACCESS and WIDA Scores (if applicable)
- Custody Documents / Caregiver Affidavit (if applicable)
- Student Transcripts and Discipline Records (High School and Middle School Only)
